Journey of an Anzac

During his service with the Australian Army during WW1, Thomas Edward Drane compiled a personal diary of his wartime experiences, which included the Gallipoli landing in 1915.

Bushmedia has developed and published the diary as a multi-touch book, providing the opportunity to bring his story to life with the addition of supporting photographs, multimedia, extracts, articles, web links and research material.

Journey of an Anzac has been partly supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Anzac Centenary Local Grants Program and is available for download for iPad on the iBookstore.

A supporting website has also been developed for the project at anzacs.co

The diary featured in a 60 Minutes story for the Centenary of the Gallipoli landing in 2015. Andrew Drane from Bushmedia assisted in the production and was interviewed for the story.
